My research has examined school-aged learners of English, their motivation and how they can learn from rich input. I have also conducted research on mobile instant messaging and interaction. At present I am the coordinator of the MA program in Applied Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition in Multilingual Contexts at the University of Barcelona.
